The material is Peruvian 100% Baby alpaca. The yarn we use are Oeko-Tex 100 certified.

• Baby alpaca is the thinnest and best fibers of adult alpaca
• The knitted surface may feel rough at first, but it softens after a few days of use
• The alpacas have been grown responsibly on small farms and harvested using stress-reducing methods
• Alpaca wool does not contain wool grease (lanolin), so it does not irritate most people
• Alpaca wool is four times warmer than sheep's wool

Often sufficient cleaning can be achieved by airing the alpaca garment outside in the fresh air. 

• Air often, wash rarely
• If necessary, perform local stain removal
• Hand wash in cool water. See care instructions.

Apurimac, Ene and Titicaca scarves are made of Peruvian 100% Premium baby alpaca. The material of the Arapa scarf is 100% baby alpaca. The material of the Umayo scarf is a 70% Premium baby alpaca / 30% silk blend. The yarns of all Classy scarves are Oeko-Tex 100 certified.
